Our client is seeking a Junior Sous Chef for their French style restaurant- authentic, rustic, and romantic, with all the joie de vivre, and le je ne sais quoi that France has to offer.
As a chef de partie, you will oversee a section in one of their busy kitchens. Using fresh produce and great seasonal ingredients as well as working alongside likeminded individuals who have a true passion for food and French cuisine.
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your section
Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
Helping the sous chef and head chef develop new dishes and menus
Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins

Experience in a similar type of environment either a quality restaurant in a passenger vessel or hotel
